Cync is a consultancy and therapy service. We provide bespoke and creative approaches to coaching, consultancy, and therapy work with organisations and individuals.

We work closely with teams and organisations to offer opportunities for development, education, and ultimately to provide organisations a space for creative thinking.

Our approach combines the systemic and psychodynamic therapeutic lens with creative mediums to support teams and deliver bespoke consulting interventions for your service, through our trainings, workshops and consulting services. Our therapy service supports individuals at their time of need or when seeking personal growth. Part of our mission is in building community and supporting communities. We therefore we offer a range of affordable therapy schemes and each year have an support initiative through our outreach work, supporting those who are most in need.

who we’ve worked with

Meet our founder-

Cerrita Smith (Bmus, Ma, FRSA)

Since training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a Music Therapist, Cerrita has worked as a Therapist in NHS Mental Health and Addictions Rehabilitation services. She has also works extensively with children with complex trauma and those who have been adopted or fostered and their families in her own private practice. With more than 10 years experience, her clinical specialism is in working with trauma and mental health. Cerrita brings her experience as a Mental Health clinician and Trauma Informed approach into her Coaching and Organisational Development practice.

As an Organisational Consultant and Workshop Facilitator Cerrita has worked in the Media Industry, Education, Public Health, and Higher Education and the Corporate sector. She brings her experience of the systemic and psychodynamic approaches to her work with organisations and individually, helping them to address institutional and individual needs below the surface. She has a Masters from the Tavistock and Portman Foundation Trust in Organisational Consultancy and Leadership and brings this wealth of experience to her work.

In 2017 & 18 she set up and delivered a community based music project in Rwanda, East Africa training teachers and communities in using Music to support Educational and Therapeutic goals for vulnerable children and their families. She has presented her work nationally and internationally, has written for professional publications, and is a visiting lecturer at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama , where she also leads their Therapy Outreach Service.
